First published in 1951, this novel is a departure from Christie's usual murder mysteries. The world's superpowers are meeting at a secret summit in Baghdad to discuss the as yet unconfirmed existence of a new secret weapon. The British agent with intel is trying to get to the summit to present his proof, but the creators of the weapon will stop at nothing to keep the agent out of Baghdad.
