Longlisted for the 2020 IPAF (Hammam Dhahab). When members of the Jewish minority in Tunis flee to France to avoid the Germans, they hide their historical documents in the ground below the Turkish bath (hammam). Years later, one of these Jewish descendents embarks on a journey to discover her roots and returns to Tunis. As she begins her research, she learns the legend of the hammam that tells how the floor gave way, revealing a treasure of gold.
