Yacine is an Algerian sculptor haunted by the fear of being murdered and his sculptures destroyed. When he is invited to Amsterdam to take part in an art exhibition, he decides to leave Algiers permanently. It was in Amsterdam, twenty years earlier, that he met the only woman he has ever loved. Fitna however disappeared in the mists of the North Sea and Yacine is determined to finally solve the mystery of her disappearance.
