On the evening of Easter Sunday, on the eve of Sham El-Nessim, one of the international mafia gangs attacked the monastery, on the twelfth of April, in the year 2015. They viciously attacked Anba Stephanos, the head of the monastery. While Sister Lillian passed out after a severe blow to the head. The masked gang wreaked havoc on the contents of the abbot's room, while stealing the rare Codex Sinaiticus hidden in a crack in the wall, behind an antique icon of the Virgin. Then they ran away. And so begins a novel of mystery, suspense, and secret societies.
