Ilhami hates writing and hates homework. When he answers a ringing phone in a phone booth, he hears a voice telling strange stories. Then, a cunning idea comes to mind: he plans to use these stories for his homework. To convince his teacher and classmates that such a book exists, he invents the name of a Chinese author. For every story he tells in class, he receives 100 points from the teacher. Things seem to be looking up for Ilhami. He continues listening to the stories he believes are "recorded," but the real mystery lies in the voice on the phone. Is it real or is it a recording? Does a Chinese author named Yuan Huan really exist?
