A woman finds an old paper she wrote as a schoolgirl. It was called "Memoirs of a girl named Suad" and her teacher gave her a zero, ending both her life and Suad's. She quit writing after that and became a physician instead. She decides to publish the paper now as an ode to children everywhere who have a desire to write. By the great Egyptian novelist and women's rights activist, Nawal Saadawi.
