Among the farms of corn and qat and the ancient houses of stone a boy lived in a village in the mountains of Yemen. The boy grew up dreaming of a girl and a city. His vague dream took him to the nearest cities where he found himself in the midst of a battle that claimed his dreams among its victims. He migrates in search of alienation.
