This illustrated volume features 306 quatrains by the 13th century Sufi mystic poet, Jalaluddin Rumi. He was a passionate believer in the use of music, poetry and dance as a path for communion with God, the true Beloved. These beliefs gave birth to the whirling dervishes famous in Sufism. This is a translation of the French edition by the famed Sufi scholar, Eva de Vitray-Meyerovitch (1909-1999).
