A colorful story based on a proverb from Saudi oral tradition. The proverb says "cut off my nose for I am in a hurry", and refers to a story about a meeting of birds in which the end result is expected to be the cutting off of beaks of all birds for some reason. However, the owl is in a hurry and doesn't want to wait until the matter is decided. In the end everyone agrees to keep their beaks, but the owl, in his haste, is now without a beak forever! Features fully-vowelled text for accurate pronunciation.
